One week after our stunning 9 skater win over the esteemed #1 seeded Ringer organization, the Weevils faced the #2 seeded Vincent’s club. What would an Olympic year be without some major controversy popping up?? And what would a season at the Factory be without some miscommunication and last minute scrambling by league management? Last Wednesday night, Weevil Nation took another solid beating at the hands of a potent Ziggy’s squad. But prior to the game, a flurry of emails from hockey director EJ Stern (second cousin four times removed to NBA League Commissioner David Stern) flooded C1 captains inboxes detailing how this was actually the first night of playoffs.
