All The Way Up To Their Lunch Box
When I say “lunch box” I don’t mean Myze’s Honda Element.
We showed up to the game last night thinking that we were going to play one of the top teams in the league only to find a less than stellar opponent. It seems that the scoring side of the Vincents team decided to miss last nights game in lieu of attending the Immigration Rally.
In the first period Skatch got a good start on his skat trick (which he would achieve later in the game) by dropping 2 goals behind the netminder. On the other line, Weber pocketed 2 himself, one of which was a wobbly one timer that he has been working on with his doctor for 4 years.
It is no surprise that Zarby ended up with his average of 3 goals per game with the help of Char. Char played great on offense, feeding Zarby and Diddle countless times, only to watch one of them hit the pole on every shot.
Now I just want to clarify for all of you goal chasers out there. I only hit 4 posts to help the pride of the opponent and not to run up the score. I really was aiming for the post! But the rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Oh, and Regan… Shut the hell up!
On another note, I am very pleased that we only had 1 penalty in the game… guess who got it?
The after game festivities were fantastic, with a combined 120 beers waiting on ice for the heroes who became rather thirsty scoring all those goals. And we had some great tunes floating through the parking lot while we consumed our beverages. I mean, who doesn’t like Firehouse and Air Supply? Regan, you better bring your cds next week.
I would also like to thank the defense who played wonderfully last night. Stank accepted the task of playing back even though he has never really enjoyed it. I think he played fantastic and even got a great assist. Huevos looked intimidating behind the blue line and even scored a goal with his superior speed and stick handling abilities. For a minute, I almost thought I saw San out there. But it was just the smell of Timmy wafting down the bench that had me hallucinating.

I have a few of the roster pictures done, go check them out.
Had a fun time out there last night fellas and Char. Good game and great tailgate.
Char looks not so much “mean” as “stoned.”
MMMMMMM…….lunchpail. Nice job Diddiel (french Spelling). meeting in Kitchen Stadium against the Chefs next week-looking forward to it!
Ha Ha Ha
thanks for the shout out Diddle. I knew you missed me.
The cookie joke does not work so well on Cow or anyone quite like you. Yes… I miss you San.
Char tried to make a mean face and failed :*(
