No Dick Jokes Allowed
Well the Weevils start of the season with a new goalie and the first of many shut outs! 3-0 against the old cheifs, new Blue Suxs. Char lead the team in penalties and shit talking, and took down more guys than she did on prom night. Mad cow comes back for his 3rd removed debut from the disease of having a kid. What is new? Skatch bitched about the new jerseys and giggled like he was tweaking a BIG set. The three new Jackal members of the team played phenominal. Vlad scoring a goal, Reed playing great defense and putting a nicely placed shot on the third Jackal, Ian. Ian is the new man in net, and played fabulous. Stopping some serious scoring opportunities and making the bench erupt in cat calls and promises after the game.
The Weber, Regan and Pat combo had several great chances, but Weber kept connecting with the ice early due to some bad advice he got from Diddle. But he made up for it by bringing a nicely cooled case for pre-game warmup. Our first goal was a nice play with Diddle feeding Myze for a shot at the net. Silver came in for the clean up and takes out the trash to put us up by 1. The next goal was scored by Vlad who waited patiently for the goalie to take a knee and he roofed it for another on our side. The third was scored by Diddle on a great 360 pass off the post from Myze.
The defense kept us ahead in this game as they only let in 7 shots on net all night.
After a short stint in the parking lot we decide to go to the OC’s after Huevos asks Diddle 12 times if we ordered the pizza yet. I guess this is training for what is to come. And a great showing at Old Chicago’s except for the $70 tab at the end of the night. I guess that is what I get for dropping a dollar on you guys for the last 2 weeks.

Good game, nice playing with the old, and new (to me) Weevils, and some old Bulldog buds. Looking forward to a great season.

I say we do the parking lot thing this season.. take it back to the old school, who is so cool… Maybe Dr. Egan can bring the grill. Or we could drink 2 cases and then go get pie if we are hungry afterward.
