I could write something here about the game. But that is so overdone. I will however go over a certain incident in the a game vs a very good team. The best skater on this team was sliding through our defense, avoiding our chops like Pslow avoids soap. I think I counted 3 or 4 times before he got booted out of the game. Myze got a stick around his hands in a classic hook and pull fashion and almost stopped this guy from scoring. As this guy was pretty damn good, Myze went down to his knees to lick the ice he skated on. This is when the guy throws a double handed, horizontal, cross check to Myze’s face. Twice. As he was being sentenced, he continued to throw verbal karate kicks and punches. As the guy left the ice, he proceeded to spit in Myze’s face like a true sportsman. During this time, another Weevil overheard an opponent say to Myze, “Shutup, you already got him kicked out for a minor penalty.”

I love it that we have some A league players in our league, as it makes us scrubs a little better and try a little harder. But when they come down to this league to relive their dominant glory days in junior B and end up causing more trouble than the benefit they bring. I do think that the Factory appropriately dealt with this situation. I would compliment “Mr Serious” Ref with his name on the back of his jersey and a chip on his shoulder, but of course pointstreak is not updated and only half of the game sheets have been filled out properly.

I am really starting to think that the addition of pointstreak has only made this league much worse. Since inception we have more of people worrying about their points and top spot. More complaints due to the speed or accuracy of which it is inputed. Where is the organization? I do believe that our fees have gone up since they implemented pointstreak. Does this mean we are paying for the service?

Late games are tough, but they won’t last forever. We all know that the winter season has late games and always has. We have to fight through this without lossing hope or not having fun because the games are just too late. Lets keep it together and focus on the playoffs… isn’t that what all the losing teams say? Anyone want to give up there spot in the playoffs so Cole can play?
