Weevils squash possible upset in a first round blowout. 10-1

Let’s just get the most important thing out to all of our fans, Old Chicago’s Pizza Rocks! This season has been the best ever and that is attributed to 2 things, Old Chicagos and Mich. This game would have been much closer without Mich there. By closer I mean 10-3.

Ziggys strike early with a screened shot that finds its way through the gap in Mich’s gear. Lucky for us, our third line finally decided to show up and capitalize on some great opportunities giving us plenty of room to play with. The Sattora, Bmoore and Browneye line showed us great skill in setting up a play, but they only let their Finish shine 4 or 5 times. And the Pinna, Zarby & Uni line was off the hook as Uni must have had like 10 assists. Of course Pinna shoots of a guys arm then taunts him by scoring the 9th goal which sealed the victory for your home town heroes.

Peanuts, peanuts, get your peanuts! Myze decided to take him up on the offer and ripped one of the guys gloves off in an attempt to provoke a fight. Which is exactly what Myze got, as the Peanut dropped the other glove and ravished him in the crease. And you know that Myze got a penalty, but the guy that dropped his gloves and started throwing punches was not even spoken to by the refs. Myze ended up getting his usual hattrick in the box.

Well the Char, Diddle & Skatch line might as well have stayed home as they were just taking up Bmoore’s precious ice time and contributing nothing at all the entire game. But the Huevos did grace us with his presence and loud heckling of the refs from behind the bench.

Sattora makes a pissed off mad rush to the net to finish the game at 10-1 and break the streak of losing in the first round of the playoffs. Let’s keep this streak alive and take home the meat.

Old Chicagos was happy to have us back and attempted to cure Uni of his endless hunger, but only succeeded in quenching a few bugs thirst. See you guys in the early slot next week.
