Weevils Win 8-6 Sans Junior A
Well we had a few no shows… Sattora San, Weber, Universal and Slow! Ok, Slow was present, but his mind wasn’t. We faced a hungry Odwyer’s team looking for a win in the wake of Saint Patty’s Day. Well the luck of the Irish ran out tonight due to several hat tricks, one by Teno and one by Zarby. It took so long to get the hats off of the ice that MadCow had to go change his tampon.
The first period started off strong with Bmoore slipping the biscuit past the keeper while Zarby screened him like a pro. Pinna gets the next one, with Zarb in the mix as well, but it fell short of him staying for beers and getting praised for his glorious mastery of the hockeys. The money crew, Zarb and stripes get the next one putting us in a nice position still early in the game. This is when Odwyer’s caught us sitting back on our heels and Pslow steps aside for an easy goal. But not long after that Zarb gets his third point from a great pass from Pinna. The break whistle blows and the offense goes outside for a beer and a smoke. This is when they put two more goals past a sleeping Pslow.
The start of the second period brings a confusing situation as the refs miss one of the goals that would have given Zarby his hat trick, but instead gave the goal to Neil who wasn’t even on the ice or paying attention. The next goal by Odwyers was a pass that trickled toward our goal, Slow winds up and tries to kick the puck into the opponents zone, but missed, fell down and the puck went in the net! Thanks for the minus asshole. All the sudden it starts raining Teno… two of his three came in the next minute and a half. Diddle hits Teno breaking out, leaving the bar bums in the dust giving him time to travel into the crease and back out before banking the puck off the goalie’s leather and into the net. At this point, Slow might as well have gone to the locker room to finish his self inflicted happy ending. Then end up scoring when he wasn’t even in the net. He also attempted to stick handle around their entire team before heading back to the crease.
The third period was nothing but defense as we struggled to hold the lead hoping that Sattora would show up from his nail appointment at any time. And to sum up the penalties column, big surpise Neil got one.
Well don’t get used to this pre-coffee write up as I am still asleep as you are reading this. I think I might take on the Ringers production plan as they only post stories when they win. That would reduce the work load as we have jobs now.

Diddle, thanks for the pictures, I’ve incorporated Slow’s photo into an anti drug message for high school seniors’s, with the caption, “This is your brain on drugs.” Several students were seen moments later flushing their secret stash and have signed up for rehab. Thanks for helping to create a drug free america!!
